At El Maktabah, we take great care in delivering high-quality Arabic books to your door. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

 

Returns

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be in the same condition as received
  • Be unused and unopened
  • Have original plastic wrap fully intact
  • Be in original packaging
  • Include proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Important:
Books that have been opened or removed from their plastic wrap are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

 

How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us at support@elmaktabah.com.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send your item back.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

 

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will cover return shipping

Damages or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@elmaktabah.com with photos so we can resolve the issue quickly.

 

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or unwrapped books
  • Custom or special orders
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, please return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: within 10 business days

Please note:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
  • Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund

  • We are not responsible for returns lost in transit if you choose your own shipping method
